Romana, infermiera volontaria della CRI, segu\u00ec il primo corso d\u2019infermiera a Roma nel 1908 e nello stesso anno venne incaricata di organizzare i soccorsi per il terremoto di Messina. Prest\u00f2 poi servizio sulla nave-ospedale Menfi (qui, per l\u2019amabile disponibilit\u00e0 fu considerata la \u201cmamma di tutte\u201d). Nominata ispettrice del Comitato regionale romano nel 1912, in occasione del terremoto di Avezzano del gennaio 1914 riusc\u00ec a organizzare in breve tempo un ospedale CRI nel convento di Sant\u2019Egidio, dove prest\u00f2 la propria opera. A lei si ascrive il merito di aver portato le scuole per infermiere dalle 68 del 1915 alle 176 del 1918.
