Costanza Fa\u00e0 di Bruno aveva sposato il conte Alvise Nicol\u00f2 Mocenigo, grande proprietario terriero veneto, il cui avo omonimo aveva fondato nel Settecento il centro \u2018ideale\u2019 di Alvisopoli, secondo un utopistico disegno urbanistico e bonificando migliaia di ettari. Quarantenne, Costanza, ispettrice della Croce Rossa di Venezia, gi\u00e0 imbarcata sulla nave\u00a0<\/span>Memfi\u00a0<\/span><\/em>durante il conflitto italo-turco, era andata volontaria al fronte assieme alla cognata Bianca Mocenigo. Entrambe rimasero a curare i feriti anche sotto le bombe che a maggio 1916 colpirono San Giorgio, meritando la medaglia di bronzo.
